Welcome

Welcome to the 2025 Summer Course, the RCO’s flagship course for students of all ages and stages. We are delighted to be convening in Central London and look forward to welcoming you to St Giles, Cripplegate Church and a range of other venues, including some of London’s finest organs.

The course content includes three morning Organ Studios for the study of a range of repertoire, skills classes to develop technique, liturgical playing and choral direction, as well as concert performance opportunities, daily services and individual lessons with our friendly and experienced staff. In addition, Anne Marsden Thomas will be leading our highly popular Fundamentals of Technique strand, designed for beginners or those looking to refresh their essential skills. This year, we are excited to be joined by Jean-Baptiste Monnot (Saint-Ouen, Rouen) for a day devoted to the music of the French Classical organ school.

The week offers a hallmark breadth of study, which will be equally stimulating for those attending for the first time, whether from the UK or abroad, and for those who have joined us before. We cater to all types and ages of organists: those still in education, church organists, leisure learners and more. Please note that the fees stated below are for tuition only. Course members are asked to find and pay for their accommodation and meals.

Browse the programme to find out more, and I look forward to seeing you in the capital this summer!
