The big course with the personal touch:
Monday 3rd August – Saturday 8th August 2026
The Royal College of Organists summer course offers tailored opportunities for organists at different stages of their musical life.
This year’s programme includes a Full Course, designed for players of any age with prior experience of organ performance looking to develop their skills further, as well as those making the transition to the organ. This year sees the return of Organ Explorers, aimed at beginners and those who have recently started the organ aged 15 or under. The cohort will be taught in two streams – 8-11 and 12-15. Both courses offer expert tuition and the chance to learn in a safe and inspirational environment alongside others with a shared interest in the pipe organ.
N.B. Students aged under 18 on the Full Course must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This does not apply to Organ Explorers.
Early booking rates apply until 31 March 2026. The Royal College of Organists welcomes applications for bursaries to support attendance. Further information can be found at https://www.rco.org.uk/education_scholarships.php. The deadline for receipt of applications is 1 May 2026.
