Session 1 – Repertoire & Technique
The first session starts the Explorers’ journey, meeting students where they are. Fun repertoire, musical games and practical ‘how to’ exercises will inspire the next steps.

Session 2 – Skills & Improvisation
Improvisation is the fastest way to gain confidence at the organ. Important new skills and techniques will be incorporated in an engaging way by our expert tutors.

Session 3 – Choir Rehearsal
This session begins preparation for Choral Evening Prayer on Friday.
Singing is an important part of the organist’s journey, allowing the internalisation of melody and harmony, improving ear training and developing an understanding of musical shaping.

Students will be divided into three groups and will have the opportunity to play the five-manual and pedal Grand Organ, as well as the smaller instruments in the Lady Chapel and the Choir School.
